Cotton buds holder

I welcomed last challenges from Simon Says Stamp and Paper Blooms with joy.
The first one requires "Anything BUT a card!" and the other one's called "Home Decor".
I meant to make a proper holder for cotton buds at some stage, but was always finding an excuse to do something else. Now, if anyone asks why would something so trivial require a treatment like this, that's because we've just renovated our bathroom, and since I'm keeping them on the shelf that now houses a few decorative bits and pieces, its holder needed either some serious revamping or faced being thrown away.
Here's what I did with it:

I decided on a simple design with earthy colours to compliment the rest of the bathroom. Satin ribbon along the rim of the lid and the two buttons are the only embellishments that I used.
The strong paper handle is recycled from a shopping bag. I find it handy, lol.
For the inside of the box I used a piece of satin fabric, again recycled from a gift box.
Hope you'll enjoy!

Thanks for popping in,
Chupa xx
