Very bright and colourful today...

Hello folks, prepare for a longer post tonight, for I've got four new cards and a bunch of challenges covered :)
(I'll try to be brief though, I don't particularly feel like elaborating...)
Here's my first card:

Photobucket

The challenges for it:
- The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC07, with the colours combo of red, green and white;
- Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #50 MTSC50 (again ;P);

The image was watercoloured & blended, and the highlights made with a white ball pen.
The same rule applies to all the rest of the images on today's cards - I fell very much like watercolouring this morning and I gained impetus once I started lol.
The red vertical panel was embossed with a "bubbly" pattern, and I traced the raised parts with a metallic golden pen, to add some interest.

Next is the "double-the-Santa" card:

The sketch is Jen del Muro's current SFYTT (her wonderful blog is another first-timer for me this week...), and the colours and theme are taken from PPA19 - Inspiration Challenge.
I like the dimension on this one, but it's not all too obvious on the photo, I'm afraid.

Below is the third Holiday card (WHAT am I going to do with all of them this year?! I need more friends or a bigger family, haha!))

Photobucket

Again I applied the sketch & colour challenge duo, and they are OCC Sketch Challenge SASSC43, and Colour Create's Challenge 33 - lilac/purple with aqua, black & white. The card also goes to Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 17, with the recipe:
  • polka dot(s)
  • a border
  • stripe(s)
  • stamped image(s)
Finally, my last card is quite the opposite to the previous ones - it's summer themed!

Photobucket

It fits nicely in the following challenges:
- Dreaming Of Summertime... Challenge #48 at Charisma Cardz;
- Cute Card Thursday's Challenge 89 - Swirly Girly;
- and the sketch is Friday Sketchers #80.

So, how did you like them? :)
I know they're not particularly innovative - I didn't feel like experimenting much today, so I went for some fool-proof layering and nice papers, which always proves to be a good idea when I want to make an effective card with no fuss :)
Thanks a lot for stopping by tonight!
