Whew, I actually made it with a second post tonight! Yet again! This was an exceptionally good day for my mojo, and thus I wouldn't want to call it finished just yet.
Here's what I "brought" with me this time...
A card for The Pink Elephant Challenge #52 - All About Pink & FTTC52D Hosted by Silke Ledlow - use pink as a main colour. This is one of the six exclusive (and fabulous!) challenges that mark the first Anniversary at Flourishes. I'm looking forward to take part in them all!
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: DCWV; stamps: Grant, Hero Arts, Paper Xtra; ink: Grant, ColorBox; rhinestones: Kaisercraft; Ice Stickles; ribbon: craft supply
A project for colourQ challenge #18, and another one of Flourishes' anniversary challenges - FTTC52B Hosted by Betty! This time it's all about cutting it out and popping it up. Easy peasy, huh? Frankly, all my cards in this post would snugly fit in this challenge, but on this one the popped-up elements seemed to be most obvious.
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: DCWV; stamps: SU!, Stampendous; ink: Versa Color, ColorBox; ribbon: craft supply
...and finally here's a card for the current challenge at Cards blog - to make a love-themed card without using pink or red (is it really that hard? hmm.... I don't think so... ;) ), Tuesday Trigger - Patchwork Hearts For Your Sweetie, and a third Flourishes challenge for tonight - FTTC52E Hosted by Kimberly - Frame It Up!
The lovey-dovey birds is another design of mine, that I was working on lately, and it's yet to be "polished up" - let's say I wanted to find out how it looks on the card first ;) I drew inspiration from traditional Polish folk cut-out designs. I'm definitely going to dig the subject more in the future - not only similar designs are very trendy lately, but they're just sweet!
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: digital printable (for the birds' bodies); black, white pen; blue marker
So, what do you think? :) I can't wait to see you again tomorrow, have a great evening!
