In a mini format (and some grumble)

This post could have been here a day ago, but due to an extraordinary behaviour of Firefox (what seems to be a global and burning issue lately...), I just couldn't finish it yesterday... Besides, my good ole' compy needs some serious cleaning up, and thus the operating system will be having a merciless re-install tonight ;) Hopefully I'll get it up and running again quickly afterwards...

So, before Firefox goes nuts again, let's move on to the crux of matter!
First I've got a card for another awesome Fall-To Layout (FTL77). No only the sketch rocks, but Natasha amazed me again with her crafting skills, with the sample she created for it. You may notice that I borrowed a couple of ideas from that post, but it was a pure coincidence.
We do share the same sentiment, which I needed for the wedding theme that I chose for the project. Yes, it means that this card is another entry of mine for the current caardvarks challenge - only this time it's a more traditional approach.
I'm also entering this one to CCEE Stampers' Heart Challenge (I assume that the heart and the charm can be the same thing...)

Next there's a card with a touch of shabbiness - for CPS153, The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC15, and What's Your Cup of Tea challenge at Flourishes. I was inspired by a container of my wonderful COFFEE! I'm all the way a coffee girl...

Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; paper: Paper Stop, digital printable; ink: Versa Color Sand Beige; brown marker; Cuttlebug & Swiss Dots embossing folder; brads, ribbon: stash. The cup is cut freehand from a DP, the swirls above are drawn by me. The words are cut out from an old book.

I swiped the embossed background with beige ink, without being too careful, and sanded the edges of the panel. It now brings to my mind some nice little cafe in Paris ;) The size of this card is roughly 10x10 cm (4x4 in)

Lastly, there's another mini card, and this one goes to Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge - PPA28, Masculine Valentine at OCC, Crazy 4 Challenges C4C23 - make a Valentine card, and The Pink Elephant Challenge #53 - Mushy Gushy Valentine.
Seriously, I haven't "ticked" so many challenges in one post for a very long time! I know I used to, in my earlier months of card making, but now I enjoy the process so very much, that I'd like to create a separate, unique entry for each one of these. IF I had time, of course, which I don't!

Now, you might have noticed that my use of pinks for the PPA challenge is rather frugal... lol. I decided on a truly masculine card, and I challenged myself to make one with these pinks. That's what happened in result, and I must admit that I'm pretty satisfied with it. Not only the background reminds me of a pair of old jeans, the card is kept minimalistic, and this little pink gives it a bit of twist, emphasizes the Valentine theme, without being girly.
The background has been swiped again with ink, but this time I was aiming to make it even more shabby.

Okay that's it for now! I'm happy that it all went smoothly this time (so far...). I'm now off to prepare the card for The Pink Elephant Happy Birthday blog hop, that will take place in a couple of hours! I hope I'll see you here then!
