Well, there's no doubt that ribbon makes me happy. Luscious, big bows on my cards is what Chupa loves with all her crafty heart. That, and my latest craze - buttons & twine. Combined together, they are simply irresistible!
There's one more fun challenge that invited me to celebrate the ribbon day, and it's The Pink Elephant Challenge #54 - which is no more, no less but to use ribbon. Here ya go ladies, on your request - three ribbon-ey cards! :)
First one uses Kazan's sketch 46 from 2S4Y, and the beautiful, luscious colours of Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act17:

Supplies: cardstock: Quill, DCWV; stamp: Hero Arts, Stampin' Up! (only part of the sentiment); ink: Versa Color Cloud White, Umber; ribbon: Sullivans; pearls: Kaisercraft; Cuttlebug & Textile embossing folder; button & twine: stash
This one is a CAS made for CC258: Soft Perfect Plums:

Supplies: cardstock: Quill, Grant; stamp: Inkadinkado (flourish), SU! (sentiment); ink: Versa Color Bark, ColorBox Wisteria; pearls: Kaisercraft; ribbon, flower: stash
...and the last one, a cheerful take on CAS54 - Wishing for Spring:

Supplies: cardstock: Quill, Grant; paper: Grant, digital printable; wheelbarrow image: me, sentiment: Flourishes; ink: Versa Color Black; black pen; ribbon: Sullivans; watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; twine, flowers: stash
The wheelbarrow is the newest design of mine, although I admit that it's pretty rough still. It was a quick sketch, and I'll polish it up when time allows. I'm planning on drawing a couple of mix'n'matchable seasonal "inserts", i.e. a bunch of wildflowers for spring, sheaves of wheat or pumpkins for autumn/thanksgiving, Christmas Trees for... Christmas of course. You get it. Does it sound like a fun set of digis? :)
Ok folks, I'll have to say bye for now, but I'll certainly be back tomorrow! Thanks so much for visiting today!
