I'm so in love with the latest Color Combination challenge at SCS! Betty chose Crushed Curry, Bravo Burgundy and Basic Gray. Woo hoo, don't they just remind you of the hot summer days?
I couldn't resist but make two cards for CC256! Here they are:
The first one is also inspired by the nice, clean and simple layout for the CAS52 - Inspired by kmahany challenge. It wasn't my initial idea to change the design much, but I liked the way the circular elements overlap the horizontal panel. I think you still can tell where the inspiration came from :)
supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Grant, digital printable; stamps: Grant (flourishes), SU! (sentiment), ink Vivid! Brick, Versa Color Sky Gray, Fiskars border punch
The other project uses the GS#23 sketch - let's just say it's my free interpretation of it... ;)
Supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Grant; ribbon: Sullivans; stamps: SU!; ink: Vivid! Brick; Fiskars border punch; flower: craft supply
There's one more card that I'd like to share with you this morning - another mini sized one (approx. 4x4 in). I made use of Mercy's sketch MTSC59, and the awesome colours of Embellish Ribbon Color Challenge:
Supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Grant, digital printable; stamp: Fiskars (butterfly - I stamped the other side of the paper, so to have a clean shape without the filling pattern), Hero Arts (flourish), the antennae are drew by me; ink: Grant; pink marker; ribbon: craft supply
I hope you like my stuff, I surely am pleased with them! The card with the flower I'm definitely going to keep for a special occasion :)
I'll (hopefully) see you later today... thanks for stopping by!
