Hello again, with my second post for today!
This time it's all about one of my all-time favourite challenge blogs, The Pink Elephant. This week TPE is celebrating first birthday, and on this occasion there is a fun little Blog Hop scheduled for today, in which us - the players and fans - are taking part too!
TPE challenge was my first ever to participate in, and since then I was faithfully returning week after week, with only a couple weeks missing. How could I say no to such fun event then?
If you came here from Deanne's blog, then you're right on track! Next stop is Alissa with her beautiful Thanks card. Be sure to visit her, when you're "finished" with me. Hee hee!
The rules of the Hop are simple - choose one challenge from the previous year, and re-create it. It was a tough decision, but I finally settled down for one of the earliest ones:
Challenge #5 Pink, Green and Brown
I'd use these colours, separately or all of them, in most of my creations. Here's how I combined them this time:
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, Paper Stop; paper: digital printable; stamps: Hampton Art (flowers), Grant (sentiment); ink: Versa Color Umber, Bark, ColorBox Orchid Pastel; white gel pen: Uniball; sewing machine; sand paper; pearls: Rasberry; lace: stash.
It was one of my most time-taking projects in the last weeks. There's a lot of sewing, distressing, and cutting. I wanted to make it a special one, and I enjoyed every minute of making it!
I used the current SFYTT sketch:
I hope you like my little card, happy hopping and see you back some time!
