I wanted to play with all challenges in the Card Style Week at Moxie Fab World for a while now, and having one of them (Bold & Graphic) done the other day, tonight saw me fiddling with the three remaining styles. Now that was FUN!
So, let me show you what I cooked up...
Here's my approach to the Classy & Elegant challenge. I used the "monochromatic" sketch form CCEE Stampers (CCEE1028). This is my first Holiday card this year! This makes it eligible for the following: The Shabby Tea Room's "Christmas In July" challenge & F4A21: Snowflakes and Pearls.
Supplies: cardstock: Bazzill; stamps: Inkadinkado (snowflake doodles), TPC Studio (sentiment), Flourishes (subtle background script); ink: ColorBox (Prussian Blue, Ice Blue); pearls: Kaisercraft
There's also a Fun & Cute category (always a joy to create!), and here's my take, using the sketch from OCC (OCCSC24) (oh I just had to tweak it, didn't it?), and C4C46 button challenge.
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, SEI; papers: October Afternoon; stamp: Fiskars (baby outfit); ink: ColorBox (Black); letter stickers: Carolee's Creations; journaling sticker: Prima; sewing machine, vintage buttons, pink twine
Lastly, one of my most loved (but yet to be mastered...) styles, Shabby & Vintage. I used no sketch this time, but I did follow the colour scheme - Dawn's magnificent choice of Color Cue {6}.
Supplies: cardstock: Kaszazz; papers: Pink Paislee, Prima; stamp: Penny Black (sentiment); ink: ColorBox (Bronze, Dune), Versa Color (White); butterfly: Collections; paper flower: Prima; fabric flower: Bella!; sewing machine, lace trim, pink twine; string: Papertrey Ink; burlap; chipboard heart: Collections; golden mesh ribbon: Flourishes; Ivory Wrinkled Ribbon
I hope you like them! Signing off to get some sleep... until tomorrow xxx
