If you came here from the RRR blog, than you're on the right track. If not, you'd want to hop over there and read all about the details and the prize, that we've got in store for one lucky participant!!
Here's the card that I prepared for the event. I used some Moss Green Leaves to create the vine around the seniment, decorated it with ribbon flowers (you can make some of these easily enough, with one of the reversible ribbons available in the store), and finished it off with a big bow, made from a luscious 1.5 in Green Gingham.
I also added a length of jute under the panel. I like the overall "all natural" effect. I hope you like it too!
There's one more fun announcement to make - my card is being featured on Tuesday Morning Sketches today, as a part of the blog's First Birthday! Throughout the month of July, all previous Guest Designers showcase a card, based on one of the previous sketches (I used TMS #30).
YAY Melissa & happy 1st, TMS!!!
(I'm so sorry for this info appearing later than it should... I'm being on a such a whirlwind lately, and it bounced out of my mind... ARGH!!!)Thank you so much for the opportunity, I'm glad to have joined in this happy time!
I hope you'll take time to visit the blog, to see what the rest of the girls cooked up for this event, and who knows? Maybe you'll get inspired to design a card yourself, based on one of their sketches :)
Supplies: cardstock: Quill, SEI; paper: DCWV; ribbon: 1.5 Inch Green Gingham, white/violet reversible, Leaves Moss Green, 2.5'' Jute Ribbon Natural, stamp: Stampin' Up!; ink: ColorBox (Black), Versa Color (Umber); letter stickers: Fynmark; other: assorted buttons, trim
