Hello again, lovelies! This time I've got a There She Goes treat for you, for it's time for another challenge over at TSG blog!
Release week is officially here and we are going to start off the festivities with a fun mix & match challenge. We want you to switch things up this week by using an image from one stamp set and a sentiment from another. The twist? To celebrate TSG turning 2 this month, it also needs to be a birthday card!
If you participate in every TSG Challenge in September, you can qualify to win a $50 gift certificate to use on anything in the TSG store! Winners will be announced on Saturday, Sept. 25th during the release party chat.
Here is my card, using the tree image from one of my favvie TSG stamp sets - Treemendous, and the sentiment from another stunner - Poppies.
Supplies: cardstock: Stampin' Up! (Purely Pomegranate), Papertrey Ink (Aqua Mist); papers: American Crafts; stamps: There She Goes; ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Versa Color (Rose Red, Celadon, Green Tea); scallop scissors; brads; border punch: Fiskars; Cuttlebug embossing folder: Swiss Dots; string: Papertrey Ink
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a birthday card that uses an image from one stamp set and a sentiment from another, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Sept. 27). The winner will get to pick out any mini stamp set available at the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
The sketch inspiration for my card comes from SSSC86:
and I followed the recipe from TPE84- the color aqua, designer paper and embellishment of my choice. My choice was brads & button.
Thanks so mucg for looking! Have a nice, crafty day :)
