CASE Study Challenge #16

Happy Thanksgiving, my American & Canadian friends!!
I hope you'll spend some special time with the family today. It's a beautiful tradition, that lets us stop for a while and ponder over all that we're thankful for. In our busy lives, how often we fail to realize how lucky we are, to be surrounded with loving people & to have so much to live for.

I would like to share with you a card, that I whipped up for our brand new CASE Study challenge (CSC16).

Supplies: cardstock: Stampin' Up! (Soft Suede, Early Espresso), DCWV; stamps: Flourishes, Papertrey Ink, Hero Arts; ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Versa Color (Umber), Distressing Ink (Frayed Burlap); Copic markers; grosgrain ribbon (Sullivans); QuicKutz embossing folder (Diamonds & Dots); border punch: EK Success

...and here's the card of Heather Pulvirenti , our November Muse, that we're given for an inspiration this week:

It's Heather's last week with us, and although I'm sad that there will be no more inspiration from her, I've got an ultra fab news about our December Muse in store for you! Watch for the sneak peek on the CASE Study blog over the weekend :)

The sketch that I played with, comes from Card Patterns, and the colours from cQc#60:
