Crafty evening

Hi there! Did you have a nice weekend? I'm so glad to have my hubby home again tomorrow, it's Melbourne Cup day! We've been planning to have a picnic, but with the rainy weather in the last days, it would require a small miracle to have a sunny & dry day tomorrow...
Anyhoo, who's up for some cards? :)

Photobucket

Supplies: paper: Basic Grey (Cappella); stamp: Stampede (crackled background); ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Pumice Stone), Versa Color (Umber); 'Best Friend' sticker: Porta Craft; letter stickers: Fynmark; edge distresser; wrinkled ribbon available here; lace trim; flower die-cuts: source unknown; vintage pearl button; butterfly punch: Martha Stewart

I wasn't sure how this one will turn out, but I came to like it a lot! I utilized many neglected bits & pieces that seem to have lingered around forever, which always makes me happy.
The sketch is TESC132 (how I missed those!), and the colours are taken from the fab OCC inspiration:

Here's another card, this time graphic & full of colour:

Supplies: cardstock: Canson; paper: unknown, Kaisercraft; stamp: Papertrey Ink (In Bloom, Signature Greetings); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Versa Color (Narcissus); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; Cuttlebug embossing folder (Swiss Dots); string available here; border punch: EK Success; sewing machine; glitter: Reeves; buttons

Here the sketch comes from PPA66 (isn't it fabulous??), and the colours: red, blue & yellow, are the theme of TPE87.

I thought that since there's a nice "Anything Goes" challenge over at Wee Memories (WMC29), I might just enter these two into it too. That should about cover it all for now :)
Thank you for stopping by, you are wonderful! {mwah}
