Anyhoo, I find this holiday break nice & relaxing, and having hubby at home means that I've got more time for crafting! Thus when I spotted the PTI December Blog Hop information on a fellow stamper's blog this morning, I decided to jump right in! I never hopped with PTI before, but wanted to do so for quite a while... so there ya' go :)
Here's what the task is...
It's that time again for our annual holiday leftovers challenge! Use scraps of wrapping paper, parts of holiday cards, recycle gift tags or bits of ribbon on a paper crafting project. We all have plenty of it laying around after all the holiday excitement and this is your chance to incorporate some of those pretty little things into an amazing piece of art!
So what did I do? I recycled the scraps ribbon from my gift tags... since it's my beloved PTI ribbon that I tend to hoard, I knew that it's up for recycling from the start!
Supplies: cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Rustic Cream, Melon Berry); paper: Jillibean Soup; stamps: Papertrey Ink (Polka dot Basics, Fancy Flourishes, All About You Additions); ink: Papertrey Ink (Fresh Snow, Tea Dye Duo - Camomile), Versa Color (Pink), StazOn (Timber Brown); edge distresser; butterfly punch: Martha Stewart; label: Pink Paislee Artisan Elements; grosgrain ribbon: Papertrey Ink; buttons; thread; pearls: Kaisercraft
Of course, I had to have a sketch to start with, and I chose CPS153, for this week's "recollection" challenge over at Card Positioning Systems.
Thank you for visiting! xxx

This is gorgeous Iwona - I love the symmetry of it and that shape in the center with the butterflies. Hope your Christmas was Merry!
