The Team worked with the cute stamp set of the same name, and I'd love you to check it out! It's delicious... you can find it here in the ABS store.
Of course if you decide to play with us, you're welcome to use any stamps you want - as soon as it's a Christmas bauble/ornament, we'd love to see where creativity gets you!
In a gesture of appreciation for our dear players, there's a prize up for grabs to one lucky participant in any of our December challenges - a $20 gift voucher to the ABS store!! Every entry in either challenge gives one chance to win.
For my sample, I decided to make some 3-D ornaments, that I've seen popping up in the blogland a lot lately. They're very simple to create - you only need to stamp and cut out four baubles, score them in the middle and join them together, so that each of these joins the other one back to back along one side. Before adhering the last bit, remember to slip some kind of 'hanger' in the middle - be it ribbon, string, baker's twine...
The last one reminds me of a Japanese lantern, with a twine tassel and the red & white colour combo... I didn't plan on this look, but I'm really digging it!
Supplies for all ornaments: paper: Lily Bee Designs, Cosmo Cricket; stamps: Annabelle Stamps (Christmas Scene Baubles); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black); blue & white twine; string; button; satin ribbon
Now it's your turn to show us what you've got! To link up your creation, hop on over to the ABS blog. Thanks for swinging by, and have fun creating! xxx
