Being a busy bee...

I certainly am lately, not only creating more than ever, in hope that it will somehow compensate the six weeks in Europe (coming very soon now!), but I should also start stockpiling cards for the Design Teams that I'm in... I've got to have 30 extra cards prepared by the end of May, plus there are some more fun news coming... very soon. Wahoo!! Go to love the buzz! :D

Anyhoo, two new cards this time.
First one, for Embellish Embossing Color Challenge, and Paper Crafts April Sketch Gallery.
I embossed the green panel with PTI's polka dot basics, and the lemons.
I'm mad at myself that I didn't mat the cut-out lemons with cardstock - after embossing and applying a generous amount of glitter, they rolled up a bit. Argh!

Ugh!

This post was ready to be posted since yesterday afternoon, and I couldn't do it for various reason until now... the interned was acting funny, and then it stopped working this morning. I hate it when it happens!

I'd like to share with you, what I made for Tuesday Trigger: Poolside Inspiration. The given photo is so familiar to me - being a Landscape Architect. I miss designing gardens, it's so much fun... With a little tot around, I had to say bye-bye to it for a while though. Not that I'm not keeping myself entertained in the meanwhile... LOL

Home revisited

Hello ladies, SO nice to see you here again!
I'm bringing you two new cards this morning, one being a continuation of my *homey* mood from yesterday. I realized that I've got quite a few themed supplies, and that it's such a charming subject.
So... made this little thing, using Kazan's sketch 51, and CPS164. Yes, I did a nasty thing and combined two sketches again. Forgive...? *grin* But they're so alike, aren't they?

No place like home

It's not only the title of the card that made it to the header of this post. I've always been a home-bird, and to me there's nothing like the warmth & pleasant familiarity of my private space. I love travelling, getting to know places, but with the very minute that I pass the treshold of the house, my heart flourishes.
That's why I didn't hesistate to take the Week #7 challenge at The Shabby Tea Room (Comforts of Home) literally. I used MOJO136 sketch for my *canvas*.

Masculine Monday

Well, sort of... my new cards are not entirely masculine, but they're certainly not girly. When I was making them, I didn't know that I'm in a mood for such style - they just... happened :)
Here's what I'm talking about...

I whipped up the first one for SFYTT 36 & PDCC26. Sometimes I like to take the time to make a heavy-layered card. I also like how heavy they are - *physically*. Except my wallet, when it comes to sending them. lol

A quick hello

hi folks, I'm just quickly popping in - we're having a holiday today in Oz (Anzac Day), so we're enjoying the family time, that we have precious little during the week.
I would like to show you two new cards, both made this morning.

First one is for the beautiful TESC110 sketch (I noticed there's a big trend for quilt patterns lately, but I'm enjoying it very much), and Makeesha's Inkspirations Colour Challenge #21:

The other one is inspired by this card by Gloria, a Featured Stamper for FS168. I liked everything about that card, so the only major thing that I changed was replacing flowers with hearts.

Acting *Silli*

Hello girls!
Are you wondering why such title? It's time for another Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act27, and I paired these beautiful colours with C4C34, which is to CASE one of the DT girls' cards. I chose Silke Kittman's (Silli's) card. Not only I love the layout, but the colours that she used, correspond so nicely with our challenge.

My Precioussss.... and two cards ;)

Hi girls! We had a VERY busy day, and I feel drained off life on this late evening, so it's going to be only a brief post. But - I just can't resist not sharing these two adorable photos with you...

Supplies: cardstock: Quill; paper: Cosmo Cricket (Nutmeg collection); stamp: Hero Arts (flowers), Stampin' Up! (Trendy Trees - sentiment); ink: Tim Holtz distress ink (Pumice Stone), ColorBox (Black); orange marker

Also, I made a card yesterday, for Embellish Embossing Color Challenge, and OCC Challenge - Blooming Blossoms, but frankly - I'm far from liking it. I was almost finished with it, when I realized that I forgot about embossing, and so I had to add something - the choice being an embossed panel from yellow cardstock. I think it spoiled the effect, but oh well... I made it, so I'm posting it ;)
