ColourQ anniversary

Hello folks, it looks like another quick post from me... I did only a fraction of what I had planned for today, and although it's late & I'm more than ready for bed, I'll try to squeeze in a quick job or two, for tomorrow is not going to be easier I'm sure!
I wanted to share with you one card, though. As soon as I saw that ColourQ is celebrating its 1st anniversary {Congrats, Arielle!!!} with a fab sketch and a freedom of choosing one of the previous challenges, I couldn't resist to play :)

I chose an irresistible combo that I wanted to play with for a long, long time (cQc#36). Still, in a very Chupish manner, I made both the colours and the sketch mine by tweaking, adjusting and stretching, so that it turned into this:

Supplies: paper: Cosmo Cricket, My Mind's Eye; stamp: The Greeting Farm; ink: StazOn (Timber Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; decorative chalks: Pebbles; ribbon: Sullivans; buttons; brads; string: Papertrey Ink; scallop scissors; sewing machine; lace trim

Here's the sketch, and the colour challenge that I chose:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs!

Colouring tutorial on TSG blog!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!!
I posted a tutorial on There She Goes blog today, showing how I colour my images with watercolour pencils & chalks. I hope you'll hope over there to check it out! Here's the direct link, and the finished card looks like this (the stamp comes from the Puppy Love set):

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, DCWV; paper: My Mind's Eye (Be Loved); stamps: There She Goes (Puppy Love); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black); watercolour pencils: Belgrave; blender pen; decorative chalks: Pebbles; sewing machine; scallop scissors; jute ribbon available here, grosgrain ribbon: Sullivans; button; string: Papertrey Ink; pearls: Kaisercraft

I used the SFYTT sketch:

Got to go now, so much stuff to do! I'll make sure I won't be leaving you for too long, though :)
Thanks for visiting! {mwah}

Good evening, stamping friends! I've been working on future projects today and haven't had time to play with some of the recent challenges, until the evening. I didn't feel like elaborate stamping any more, so the two cards that I'll show you are pretty simple... I hope you'll like them still :)
Here's the first one:

Supplies: cardstock: Canson, Papertrey Ink (Rustic Cream); stamps: Grant, Penny Black; ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Pumice Stone), Versa Color (Pinecone); lace trim; Spica Glitter Pen; twill ribbon available here; brad available here

The sketch comes from Pals Paper Arts (PPA61 - reversed):

The card is also made for FTTC86, which is to make a card with a fall/harvest theme using green, brown, orange/russet, and cream.

Another one:

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, Papertrey Ink (Aqua Mist), Grant; stamp: Papertrey Ink (Polka Dots Background); ink: VersaMark; clear embossing powder: Hero Arts; sentiment sticker: SRM Stickers; grosgrain ribbon: Sullivans; velvet ribbon: Lil' Davis Designs; button; string: Papertrey Ink

This one was inspired by this beautiful bracelet, the theme of TSTR29:

The sketch is GS#57:

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you'll have a fantastic day! xxx

A little bit of luxury

Hello again, friends, and welcome to my second post for today!
This time I've got a project, that I prepared for Really Reasonable Ribbon. It features some absolutely gorgeous ribbon, that can be found in the RRR store: Jade Grosgrain and Light blue Silk.

Supplies: cardstock: Canson; paper: Kaisercraft; stamps: Prima, Papertrey Ink; ink: Versa Color (Pinecone, Umber), Color Box (Ice Blue, Prussian Blue, Brown); watercolour pencils: Belgrave, blender pen; glitter: Reeves; pearls: Kaisercraft; ribbon available here

The sketch is SSSC26:

Karen gave us the freedom of choosing one of her past sketches to play with this week, and this one is what I chose. There would be many more that I'd easily call my favourites, but this sketch suited my idea for the moment :)

The colours come from Our Creative Corner - I took some freedom with the interpretation :)

The card also goes to C4C56 - Bling.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you'll have a fabbo day!!!

TSG74 - my Inspiration Challenge

Helllooooo! Today is a great day, for I'm hosting my very first challenge for There She Goes!
I settled down for this beautiful inspiration photo:

It's fun, it's trendy, and has the most awesome colours that I just couldn't resist!
Although in the end I changed the tone of my blues... I used the butterfly from the magnificent Spread Your Wings stamp set, along with the sentiment from Aim For The Clouds.
Here's my card:

Supplies: cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Enchanted Evening), Creative Imaginations (Pizzazzill); stamps: There She Goes (Spread Your Wings, Aim For The Clouds); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Versa Color (Sky Blue, Cyan); Copic markers; grosgrain ribbon; pearls: Kaisercraft; pearl brad

The sketch is TESC129:

Sunday evening stamping

Hello there! I'm back :)
I did some more stamping... the usual stuff that fills my weekend evenings. I'm always trying to squeeze in a few new challenges, which pop out everywhere like mushrooms after the rain at the end of the week.
Here's what I did this time! (I must admit that I'm not overly excited about these... they're okay, but there's less than usual love put into them. I think I need some major rest :))

The first one is a CASE of this card by Sallie (hobbydujour), this week's Featured Stamper (FS190):

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, Stampin' Up! (Kiwi Kiss); paper: Scenic Route; stamp: C.C.Designs; ink: Memento; Copic markers; velvet ric rac ribbon available here; scallop scissors; sentiment sticker: SRM Stickers; border punch: Martha Stewart

Yes, I did the colouring with Copics. Please be gentle to me while I'm learning! I've been thinking, that it shouldn't be anything more tricky than watercolouring, and I was oh so wrong! :) Copics DO need a lot of practice, but I'm sure I'll have all the practice that I need, lol!

Here's one more card with a Copic coloured image, made for VLVSep2010 Week 5:

Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts; paper: Kaisercraft (Loire Valley); stamp: C.C. Designs; ink: Memento; Copic markers; buttons; rub-on: Fynmark

Lastly, here's a card for Card Patterns sketch 83, and the colours of PDCC48:

Supplies: cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Spring Moss, Enchanted Evening), Stampin' Up! (Going Gray); stamps: Papertrey Ink (Turning A New Leaf, Mega Mixed Messages); ink: ColorBox (Sky Blue), Versa Color (Lime); chipboard butterfly: Maya Road; EZCut embossing folder (Polka Dots); jute ribbon available here; scallop scissors; border punch: Fiskars

Photobucket Photobucket

Okeydokey, me goes to bed now! *YAWN* Thanks so much for stopping by! {hugs}

Tomorrow is a new day!

Hello all! Here's a good title for those of you who already regret that the end of weekend is around the corner... tomorrow is a new day, and it sure will bring many new exciting things :)

I bring you a little clean & simple card...

Supplies: cardstock: Stmapin' Up! (Going Gray), American Crafts; stamps: Papertrey Ink (Dot Spot, Butterfly Dreams; Blooming Button Bits); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), VersaMark; white embossing powder

I created this one for Embellish Background Stamping Color Challenge:
