I was really planning on rambling a little, since it's been quite an emotional day (I have an utter pleasure to be Cath's first Moxie Fabber of the Week, and the comments and congratulations that I received today are, mildly speaking, quite overwhelming!!)
In the end, I decided to watch a film with hubby and put away this write-up for later in the night... well, it wasn't quite the wisest choice, lol ;)
So here is the card for you... a bit different this time, since it's rather large in format (A4 in width). It's also made for a recipient in mind, which I don't happen to do too often :)
Supplies: cardstock: Stampin' Up! (Cajun Craze); paper: Basic Grey (Curio), October Afternoon (butterfly only); stamps: Papertrey Ink (Polka Dot Basics, Say It With Style, Signature Greetings); ink: Kaleidacolor (Capuccino), Versa Color (Sky Blue, Bark, Pinecone); Nestabilities Ovals; twill ribbon; chipboard flower: Lil' Davis Designs; butterfly punch: Martha Stewart; border punch: EK Success; label sticker: Artisan Elements by Pink Paislee; string; buttons; lace trim; decorative leaves
The sketch is VLVJan2011 Week 1, and the colours - Curtain Call 63. I'm also entering my card into A Passion For Papertrey's Background Basics challenge. My polka dots are not overly visible, so I might give it a go once again later, if time allows.
Thank you for finding the time to visit my blog and commenting, my dear crafty friends!
