Say It With... Emboss Resist!

Welcome to another fabulous AnnaBelle Stamps challenge! This week we're having a special one, for some fabulous girls have recently joined the ABS Design Team, and this is their first challenge with us! YAY!

This week we're saying it with a emboss resist, and I must admit that although I don't use this technique too often, this must me one of my favourites!

On my card I used the brand new set from our January Release, All Things Grow. I love these slender grasses! With just a couple of stamps in this set you can create a meadow of your dreams :)
I clear embossed the grasses on the PTI Rustic White cardstock, and sponged over them with three shades of pink. Lastly, I stamped some more with dark Distress Ink, over the embossed image, to create some depth.
Notice how the ink leaves out the embossed parts, so that the dark sihouettes appear to be far behind. That's a neat trick about embossing :)

Supplies: cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Rustic white, Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet), American Crafts; paper: Basic Grey; stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps (All Things Grow); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap), Versa Color (Cinnamon, Pink, Opera Pink); grosgrain ribbon; Nestabilities Ovals, Scalloped Ovals

The sketch that I used comes from PPA77, and the colours from CD93 - Regal Pacific Pirouettes.
