A cheerful weekendy hello, crafty folk!
Actually I wasn't at all cheerful this morning... I woke up still feeling tired and with the awareness of another busy day, but around noon I couldn't help but take a nap. It turned out rather longish, but boy did I need that! It certainly improved my mood too, and I decided that what the heck, I might just be a devil and don't get into anything serious any more tonight.
I knew I would make some cards though, this is the thing that I didn't have as much chance to do this week as I usually would.
I made these two so far, and I'm happy with how they turned out. Here they go!
Supplies: cardstock: Stampin' Up! (Baja Breeze), recycled kraft; paper: Chatter Box, unknown (polka dots), page from an old book; stamps: Verve; ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa); pearls: Kaisercraft; ribbon: Papertrey Ink; sewing machine; butterfly punches: Martha Stewart, Cristina Re
The sketch is VLVFEB2011 Week 2, the colours CTD127, and the card also fits WMC42 - Scrappy Saturday Chalenge.
Here's another one...
Supplies: cardstock: vanilla, recycled kraft; paper: Cosmo Cricket; stamps, die: Papertrey Ink (Mat Stack 3 Collection); ink: Versa Color (Sage), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap); edge distresser; ribbon: Sullivans; button; natural jute: AnnaBelle Stamps; border punch: Fiskars, EK Success
This time the sketch comes from Card Patterns 101 & the colours from Jag Gee's Nook Challenge #4. The card also goes to F4A50 - Almost Monochrome.
Right, I'm off to make some more :)
Thanks for coming, I hope you're squeezing in some crafty time this weekend too!
