TSG95 - Stamp Simply

Welcome to another Monday with TSG challenge! This week’s challenge is brought to you by our fearless leader, Jessica! She wants us to channel our inner “Julie Lacey” {wink, wink} and create a card using ONLY LINED-ART….no coloring, no shading…use the outlined image only as the focal point. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

I {heart} what Julie does with stamps, but I know that when it comes to copying her style, I can hardly restrain myself from adding to an image. I imagine that some of my fellow Trendsetters will have a hard time with that challenge too! HA HA!
Today some of us are going to tease you a bit, and show you little sneak peeks of the sets from this month's release... which starts TOMORROW!!! I can hardly wait to show you everything... :D
The set that I'm giving you a peek into, is a sweet little treat called Good Times, and is illustrated by our fantabulous Torico :) I LOOOOOVE it!!!! You will be able to see it in full, at the Blog Hop Challenge on Thursday.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes LINED ART ONLY, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Feb 28th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

While I'm at it, I might just show you one more card, that I created with TSG stamps this morning... :)
It features the Spring Fever set, and it's made for SSSC105 & Color Cue {12}.

  1. Great use of this weeks' Inkspiration colours and the twine on the clock card is perfect. Well done on pulling a "Julie" ;) Loving all the polka dots on the second card and how you used Karen's sketch. Reminds me that we'll be seeing squirrels in our back yard soon enough!
