We are hosting a fun surprise blog hop, and I hope you'll join in :)
You should have made your way here from Holly's blog, and once you complete the hop, make sure you give the birthday girl a little love on her blog too!
This week, Jessica is challenging us to make an Easel Card. FUN, FUN, FUN! You can use any size and shape for your fabulous creation. For step by step directions, check out this wonderful tutorial posted on Splitcoast Stampers.
This is the card that I made for our sweet birthday girl, using my good ole' favourite from the TSG store... Poppies.
Have a very happy day, sweetheart!!
You're a dream 'boss' and a fabulous person, I love ya'!
Supplies: cardstock: cream; paper: Kaisercraft; stamps: There She Goes (Poppies); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap, Pumice Stone); Copics; ribbon: PTI; sewing machine; metallic brads; button: My Mind's Eye; Nestabilities Ovals, Labels 14
Here's a side-view...
I created the frame from Nesties, to suit the OCC Frame It! challenge - something that I definitely should do more often!
The pushed back front reveals the message panel. It's popped up on the foam tape, so it's capable of supporting the front as well. This way you can choose whether you want to have the message hidden or not :)
I used the CPS219 sketch for the card front, and the colours of CC323 (Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, Rose Red)
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card inspired by the photo, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday. The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG107 so we can check out your beautiful work!
The next stop in the hop is Jackie, and below you'll find the complete list of participants!
