AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Hop - Acacia

It's time for AnnaBelle Stamps first Blog Hop for June!
You should have arrived here from Kylie's blog, but if you're ever lost on the way, or want to join the fun, hop on over to the ABS blog, where you'll find the master list, as well as all the details.

Here's how things work:

Come and join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month as we have fun sharing a new set with you! Play along with us for your chance to win the Blog Hop set!
How to Play :
Playing along is now even easier! You can leave a comment on one or all of the DT blogs and add your name using the Inlinkz tool which can be found on any of the DT blogs.
Each Hop a random winner will be drawn and if you've commented on the mystery DT blog then you will be the winner.

Today's hop is a special one to me, for we're featuring the stamp set that I designed for ABS - Acacia.
For those who don't know, Acacia is a floral emblem of Australia (although not the kind that I drew), and I love them all! There's one almost in full bloom now, growing in our backyard, and I love walking past it. Not only it's covered in the most lovely, little golden fur-balls, but they also have a fantastic scent...

I kept my card simple, and concentrated on showing the beauty of the plant.
I stamped the branch randomly in two shades of green, on the background, and coloured the main image with Copics.

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Summer Sunrise), American Crafts (green), white; paper:
Scenic Route; stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps (
Acacia); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black, Bamboo Leaves, Pear Tart); Copics; border punch: EK Success

I used the FTL143 sketch:

Of course, there is a prize provided for a lucky participant in our Blog Hop! Check out the ABS Blog to find out what that is :)

Next stop is the talented Lisa! Happy hopping!
