Not only it was so nice to hear her voice, but once again I understood the importance of my internet friendships.
The possibilities that internet offers are truly invaluable, aren't they? My life would be duller without all of you in my life, and although I'm sad that I can't just meet over a cuppa with most of you, not knowing you in person doesn't make these friendships any less valued in my books.
Heck, me and my hubby also met online, and fell head down into an cross-continent engagement - to our astonishment, as neither of us looked for a partner, nor did we want to get into a trouble of the emigrating process :)
So tonight I just want to say - thank you for being you! And I'm saing it with these... :)
Supplies: cardstock: American Crafts, white; stamps: Flourishes (Spring Bouquets); ink: Memento (Paris Dusk, Summer Sky, Tuxedo Black, Rhubarb Stalk); Copic markers; sewing machine; Cherry Sprinkles: AnnaBelle Stamps
This simple card is made with the JUGS87 sketch (let's call it a free interpretation...), and I also created it for the two Flourishes challenges: BBB11 - Beauty In The Spotlight, and FLLCJUNE11 - The Star Spangled Challenge.
This one is inspired by this card by Taylor (stagccva), this week's Featured Stamper on SCS (FS226).
I don't usually colour the whole scenes, but this adorable stamp asked for it. It's far from perfection, I still think it's stinkin' cute :)
Supplies: cardstock: Grant (grey), white; paper: Basic Grey (Pyrus); stamps: Nellie Snellen, The Craft's Meow (sentiment); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Copic markers; orange string; paper flower; Nestabilities Circles/Scalloped Circles; buttons; Cuttlebug embossing folder (Victoria)
Sending you special cyber hugs tonight,

Beautiful cards, Chupa!
