Upon weekend's end...

... I found it only appropriate to get inky! I might say it all the time, but it was another busy weekend, and I hope that Zuzia will give me some break tomorrow, because I need to catch up on assignments. Tonight I'm too tired to think about them, I settled down for a "leisurely" stamping instead... ;)

I combined a sketch and colours on each of these cards. The first one is for VLVJul2011 Week 3 sketch, and the inspiration comes from JAI76.

Supplies: cardstock: SU! (Old Olive), DCWV (turquoise), white; paper: My Mind's Eye (Stella & Rose - Hazel); stamps: There She Goes (Hibiscus), Verve, Prima; ink: Versa Magic (Spanish Olive), Versafine (Onyx Black); Copics (for centers of flowers); Nestabilities Circles/Scalloped Circles; sewing machine; buttons; Cuttlebug embossing folder (Paisley)

The second card, this time in tattered, shabby style. I paired DS10 and JUGS93 for this one.
No stamping here - the image is a Paper Layer from Glitz Design & the sentiment comes from a DP.
The rose came white, but I sprayed it with some Glimmer Mist, to fit the colour scheme - and of course, add some glamour ;)

Photobucket

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Sweet Blush), American Crafts (grey, coral); paper: My Mind's Eye (Be Loved), sentiment from unknown brand of paper; Paper Layers (Glitz Design); edge distresser; seam binding; flower; button; Glimmer Mist (Silver)

I hope you'll have a fabulous time ahead (it means a good night to me). See you soon! xxx

Both of these are wonderful. I like that you can take on many different styles. The quote on the first card is fabulous and the shabby card is just stunning. Love em! :)
