If you'd like to skip the boring bits and get straight to the prize, I promise I won't be mad. I'm quite likely to be raving... :P
You should have arrived here from Heather's blog, but if you're lost or want to join in just now, please refer to the CASE Study blog, for the full list of participants.
So, my precious "baby" called CASE Study is one year old - unbelievable! It's been the most rewarding and humbling experience, to work with such extraordinary artists that our Designers and Muses are.
We put together a Blog Hop, to celebrate the event! The theme is CASEing/being inspired by one of our DT Members - past or present.
We wouldn't have a celebration without some goodies to grab, and I assure you that there's LOTS to win this week!
The random winners will be chosen on Wednesday, from the comments on the participants' blogs, and announced on the CS Blog.
I've been agonizing over the decision about whose card to choose... Being so lucky to have the most amazing Design Team on the face of the earth, also means that there is simply too much goodness to choose from!
So, I decided to pick one of my favourites, from each of the current DT members. I don't have the card for Jean, who's still away and unfortunately couldn't participate this week, and for Sue... I simply run out of time!
I'm sure to have something special in store for you later on, sweeties!
Let's start with Aimes... sweet, sweet girl :) I adore her clean style and an eye for composition
This striking green beauty is one of my absolute favs from her. Here's my take:
I didn't have any hoarded green Primas, so I figured I could add a little dimension to a stamped flower :)
Andrea... she absolutely ROCKS elegant style. While most of her cards I wouldn't be able to recreate (goodness gracious, have you seen what she's doing with her dies and punches??), this gorgeous card caught my eye as soon as I saw it a while back, and heyyyy... I can make it too!
Clare is one of our newest Designers, and I squealed with joy when she agreed to join us! She's got the loveliest shabby, feminine style that makes me sigh in bliss whenever I visit her blog. I remember reading in her Moxie Fabber of the Week interview, that my work is an inspiration to her... holy cow, really??? You can't trade a good feeling like this for anything in the world :)
I CASE'd this amazing creation of hers.
Cristina... our Superstar! She's aiming high in this wonderful industry, and I'm absolutely sure that all the opportunities out there are within her reach. She's the one that gives me the "light bulb moments" most often - looking at her newest creation, she gets me wondering "why the heck I didn't think of THAT before"??
I loved the brilliant layout and colours in this card of hers.
Debby is such a sweet person, with a top-shelf style and an eye for colour. When I first saw this card, I literally gasped. She's showing me what gorgeous things one can do with just a sheet or two of cardstock, and a few stamps. If you know me, you also know that I normally shy away from simple designs, but if not blogs like hers, I wouldn't feel ancouraged to push my limits at all.
Julie has the most CAS style of the bunch, and she constantly amazes me with how full and "just right" her cards look, even if it's a simple one layer with a single image on it. I was taken with the amazing layout of the second card in this post, and tried to recreate it while applying a different theme. Can you believe I actually made the card even simpler?? GASP!
Lastly, our wildly talented SU! Demo, the Queen of distressing - Teneale. My oh my, I could talk forever about what I love in her work! Her designs are flawless and always striking. I say she should make the Stampin' Up! folk walking proud as peacocks :)
I chose to CASE her Butterfly Blues card.
I LOVE my girls :) I'm not going to tell you for how late I stayed up last night, to work on all these! HA! Of course, it would be much easier if I wasn't such a stinkin' procrastinator, but I do love the rush of adrenaline when the deadlines are chasing me! lol
I'm sorry for not having given you the list of supplies, but I figured that with an already long post, you'd want to skip that estra bit of information! If you have any questions regarding these cards, don't hesistate to contact me.
And now... the goodies to win!! Are you still with me??I'm offering this little bundle to one random commenter:
20x 30x30 sheets of assorted Glitz Design papers,
Glitz Design "Love Games" stamp set,
Glitz Design Chipboard Album,
5x Glitz Design Teeny Alpha Stickers.
Remember that you've got until Tuesday evening to comment on the DT's blogs, to be considered in the drawing!
Your next stop is Jill, with something that's sure to leave you in awe! I hope you enjoyed my longish post, and that you're having a fabulous time hopping with us :)
