CASE Study Challenge #57

We're up for a treat at CASE Study this week! (oh yes I know, we always are!)
BUT, I really really like this stylish card by our September Muse, Julie Lacey, that we are inspired by this week:

I just love this simple but striking layout. The little background pattern in particular, followed by the luscious bow that grounds the card perfectly. I followed this layout with some changes, replacing the ribbon with a row of black pearls in the centers of the diamonds, and reducing the card to one layer.
Madness, I know. Me - one layer?? No bow?? Well, there you go :)

Supplies: cardstock: recycled kraft, Canson (blue, red), white; stamps: PTI (A Little Argyle, Love Lives Here - with die, Mat Stack 1 - with die); ink: VersaFine (Onyx Black), Memento (Bahama Blue), PTI (Fresh Snow); Pearls: AnnaBelle Stamps; buttons

My colours come from CTD159:

I hope you'll find the time to visit the magnificent Designers at their blogs and leave them some love!
