CASE Study Challenge #58

I'm sorry for my late post for CASE Study! It was a hectic week, and I simply run out of time. It never happened before, what a strange feeling to miss the deadline!
Oh yes, you're probably thinking now, 'what a strange woman!', but I hate when it happens. I'd rather miss on a sleep than mess up. I guess it's different with this particular case, since I'm the 'boss', but I'm choosing the Muses and cards myself, them being my personal favourites, and I'm looking forward to every single week :)
Anyhoo, here's what card of our September Muse, Julie Lacey, I chose for this week:

This card just packs a punch, with its magnificent colours, rich patterns and perfect execution.
I settled down for the fun layout (slightly altered), and I wanted to combine several patterns as well (as I do). I'm not keen in the light outside today, so the colours are a bit off... sorry for that :/

Supplies: cardstock: cream, American Crafts (brown); paper: Echo Park, Kaisercraft; stamps: Flourishes (Zinnias); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black), Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap); Copics; pearls/brad: SEI; ribbon: Kaisercraft; sewing machine

My colours come from CTD160:

I'm also playing with FTTC136 "All Dolled Up".

I hope you'll find the time to visit our magnificent Designers at their blogs and check out what they cooked up with the given inspiration!
