Pals Paper Arts Guestie!

I have a pleasure to guest design for a fabulous challenge blog today, Pals Paper Arts! They host a wide range of great weekly challenges, starting from sketches & colours, through "Elements of Style" and CAS. I've been playing along for quite a long time, and it was fun to see it growing and changing over the months :)

This week's challenge is a beautiful colour combo, check it out!

And here's my take:

Supplies: cardstock: Canson (grey, red), white; paper: American Crafts; stamps: Taylored Expressions (It's a Banner Day - 2 (with die), Owls In Love); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black, London Fog); Copics; black pen; border punch: Martha Stewart; Dizzy Doily die: MFT; buttons

I stamped the whole scene in grey ink first, and outlined the parts I wanted to stand out, with black pen. Then I used my Copics to do the rest of the job :)
