As I promised earlier today, I'm chiming in with a special feature - and a special treat for me and you, my favourite bloggers! :)
Today the amazingly talented and incredibly sweet Jill Foster and I, are launching a week long (Tue-Fri) collab fun, called
Sketch and Stamp Collab Week!On each day we will be showing you cards, made with the same stamps, and based on the same sketches!
The stamps come from one of my favourite companies, Penny Black (Jill is on their fabby DT). The sketches are drawn by me, and the fun is ours! :)
Let's start with today's sketch and stamp, shall we?
The featured stamp is the wood-mounted Sundial:
On my sample card, I also used the PD backgrounder (damask, Delicate Pattern), and the sentiment from Flower Gallery.
I white-embossed the flower on white paper, and sponged with two colours of ink.
Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse), white; stamps: Penny Black (Sundial, Delicate Pattern, Flower Gallery); ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black, Bamboo Leaves), VersaMark, Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap), Versa Magic (Magnolia Bud, Pumpkin Spice); sewing machine; Leafy Branch die: Taylored Expressions; pearls/glazed brad: Kaisercraft; twill ribbon
Head on over to Jill's blog, to see what she cooked up with this sketch and stamp!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope to see you tomorrow for the Day Two :)
