Mid-day inky break

So, folks... I'm back with some more today! I needed a break. As much as I crave for a nap, I couldn't really do so with Zuzia trotting around, and I settled down for an inky session instead. Not that it was a stress-free, uninterrupted mommy-time though :P

Supplies: cardstock: PTI (Ocean Tides), retired SU! brown; papers: DCWV (Mariposa), My Mind's Eye (Mabel), page from an old book; stamps: WPlus9 (Defining Words), Flourishes (Peaches and Cherries); ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Versa Magic (Oasis Green); edge distresser; lace

This card is for the utterly delightful, new Tuesday Trigger: "A" is for Apricot. I'm also playing with The Ribbon Reel Challenge #23: Newsprint. I paper pieced the peaches (in this case apricots :) ), with some patterned paper. The folk heart is cut by hand.

The second card is CAS, for a change. The inspiration for this one, comes from Runway Inspired Challenge #7.

Here's the inspiration from ric#7. I couldn't help but make a card with an owl on it, like most of the DT did :)
