We're entering the last week with Laurie Schmidlin, our April Muse at CASE Study, and here's the artwork that we got to work with this time:

Apart from the gorgeous colours, I especially liked the embossed background, so that's what I went for too. I achieved the look by gently rubbing white hybrid inkpad (Palette), over the embossed pattern (created with ES-004 Whimsy M-Bossabilities folder)
I was tired last night when I made this, so I quickly arranged some of the matching embellies, stickers etc. that I had on hand. No stamping here!
I combined some HA stamps, Cosmo Cricket washi tape (also copied from the inspiration card!) and the butterflies from two Spellbinders™ die sets: LF-006 Wonderful Wings and S5-051 Fanciful Flight.
I used this sketch from Cardabilities, slightly altered and turned on the side:

ReplyDeleteI thought you might appreciate this - http://stamped-by-hand.blogspot.ca/2012/04/all-designs-are-complete.html - I took some time trolling through all the posts on CASE Study and borrowed the inspiration and some designs for my card workshop that I'm having early May.
