CASE Study Challenge #88

Hi, CASE Study fans! Excuse my brief post, I'm not feeling well today (food poisoning of some sort, me thinks)
We're entering the last week with Laurie Schmidlin, our April Muse at CASE Study, and here's the artwork that we got to work with this time:

Apart from the gorgeous colours, I especially liked the embossed background, so that's what I went for too. I achieved the look by gently rubbing white hybrid inkpad (Palette), over the embossed pattern (created with ES-004 Whimsy M-Bossabilities folder)
I was tired last night when I made this, so I quickly arranged some of the matching embellies, stickers etc. that I had on hand. No stamping here!

I combined some HA stamps, Cosmo Cricket washi tape (also copied from the inspiration card!) and the butterflies from two Spellbinders™ die sets: LF-006 Wonderful Wings and S5-051 Fanciful Flight.

I used this sketch from Cardabilities, slightly altered and turned on the side:

The Design Team prepared some beautiful samples today as well, click on any of the links to be taken to their blogs:

  1. Clearly being tired definetly does not get in the way of your beautiful creations!! This one is equally as stunning.

I thought you might appreciate this - http://stamped-by-hand.blogspot.ca/2012/04/all-designs-are-complete.html - I took some time trolling through all the posts on CASE Study and borrowed the inspiration and some designs for my card workshop that I'm having early May.

All of the CASE Study muses and submissions are gorgeous!
