Spring reminds me of swallows (and the other way around), and the Whatnot bird from Laced With Grace is so much like it. I chose a coordinating paper, Glitzer and another Whatnot (that I cut out the word "SMILE" from), out of the same collection. I played with textures a lot on this card, just how I like it - embossing, sewing and textiles complete the look. Isn't that a fun colour combo too??

Some gorgeous cards and I love the pink flowers on the first one...
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so pretty, but I am so drawn to the first one with the pink and orange. They look so summery together - and the swallow on that printed cardstock - really striking!
ReplyDeleteWow Iwona... beautiful cards. That swallow and rose ribbon on the first is stunning. So happy that you joined us at Jay Gee's :) Hugs Judith
