Hello again! It's late and I'm so ready for bed, so I'll *try* to keep it short :)
I had this card lying on my desk for a day or so, waiting to be blogged...
I played a few challenges with this number, so I thought I better 'tick it off' so that I won't need to load the same pages tomorrow :)
I used Card Patterns sketch 161, along with the colours/inspiration from TSTR110:
I'm also playing with FTTC162, which asks for favourite Flourishes stamps (amongst my many favourites, there's the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms set that I used here), and Crafty Friends Challenge #2, which wants us to use two die cuts. I sincerely hope that it means AT LEAST two, because I've got four :)
Speaking of which, the Spellbinders™ dies used are: S4-114 Standard Circles LG, S4-312 Blossom Three, S4-126 Classic Squares LG and S4-127 Classic Scalloped Circles LG.
I curled the edges of the largest blossom die up, and spruced it up with some Liquid Pearls. The Copic combination on the cherry blossoms is not your usual one - I used YR01, R02, R22. It works just fine :)
The papers peeking out here and there, come from My Mind's Eye paper pads. Of course!
Also, in case you're wondering, the first layer is stamped (with the solid, little cherry branches from the same stamp set). I used Clearsnap's ColorBox "Ocean" ink.
There will be two posts up tomorrow (my time), the second day of TCM release and a Waltzingmouse Blog Party, that I'm hoping to take part in. Until then, thanks for visiting!
