Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #64

This is my second post today, please find my Waltzingmouse sketch card below as well. Thanks!

How about juggling a one-layer card this week??
You must know by now that I'm so NOT a single layer girl. I can't tell you how this strange idea would make it into my brain at all...
However, there's a trigger to this card, a piece of stationery that I saw the other day on Pinterest, an absolutely gorgeous letterpress card with a two-tone meadow, full of whimsy flowers, right in the middle of a big white space. Bliss!

I feel a tad disappointed about this card, not exactly wanting to say that I destroyed it, but it's definitely busier than I had it in my plans. After I stamped the initial bunch, the flowers were out of balance and I kept adding in hope that I can repair it. Yeah, right.... lol!

The stamps used for this card are Retro Foundations and Flower Garden from The Craft's Meow. Both are my favourites from the last month's release. (By the way, did you guys know that the June release at TCM starts tomorrow?? Heck yes!!)

I stamped the meadow in some of my new Memento inks, which I absolutely adore!! I used Pistachio, Love Letter, Peanut Brittle and Teal Zeal. The sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black and I filled it in with a subtle gradient with W3/W5 Copics.

I must apologize for my photography lately... Bad luck that my crafty time, so scarce lately, has been reduced mainly to late nights, and I'm neither patient or with enough time on my hands to wait until next morning :) Things should get more relaxed pretty soon though, fingers crossed!

A few things to keep in mind if you decide to use my sketch:
- You're kindly asked to save the image onto your computer first, and if you make a card based on it, please link back to this post.
- If you upload your card to an online gallery, use the code SSC64.
- Feel free to share the link to your creation via the Inlinkz widget, so that I can come and check it out!
- The colours/elements mean nothing towards the card. All styles, colours and supplies, as well as slight alterations of the sketch are welcome.
- A new sketch and sample is posted every Saturday, but you're welcome to play any time! Just leave a link in the comments section after Inlinkz widget closes.
