The Craft's Meow July Sketch Challenge

Well, it's time I posted again, and this time I'd like to share a card I made with The Craft's Meow July sketch. Nina Brackett is at it again, and she produced this lovely number for our enjoyment:

As always, if you choose to play along, you're in the running for a free TCM stamp set of your choice! You don't have to use TCM stamps to enter the challenge. However, if you are the winner and you have used TCM stamps on your entry, you'll also receive a coupon for 15% off one additional stamp set which can be used one time within 30 days!

I paper pieced the plane from the Vintage Rides set, with some blue cardstock and brown polka dot paper, and added a banner stamped on white cardstock.
The main panel was stamped with one of the backgrounds from Retro Foundations, I thought it would be cool if I stamped it diagonally. I used Memento Olive Grove on PTI Simply Chartreuse cardstock, cut out the circle in it with Nestabilities and mounted on foam tape over a piece of My Mind's Eye "cloudy" paper.
The border was cut with scallop Die-Namics and embellished with MME baker's twine and some buttons.

Now it's YOUR time to show us what you've got! You have until July 31st at 9:00 pm Pacific to link your card. Good luck!

  1. The retro pattern on the diagonal is so cool! Love the sky background you made and great papers for that plane.

  3. Such a fabulous collection of colours and patterns, makes for a great masculine card! You are really soooo clever!

  4. Brilliant take on the sketch!

  5. Love the combo of colors! Retro pattern on the diagonal is wonderful! Love that plane and tag! The scallop border with twine and buttons is perfect!

  6. Awesome! Love the circle opening and darling images!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
