Hello Everyone and welcome to the Octoberr Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!!
Once again, it's time to get those passports ready, grab a cup of coffee and prepare for take off as once again we prepare to travel the world and be inspired by talented girls from all parts of the globe!
Did you know that your travels around the Flourishes World gives you the opportunity to WIN?? All we ask is that you do a little globetrotting and stamp our passports (leave us a comment) and you could WIN A FREE FLOURISHES STAMP SET!! The catch is, you don't know which country is going to be this month's Vacation Spot (chosen blog), so leave a comment on each one by October 31st for your chance to win.
This month our hostess is the lovely DINA and our challenge is to CASE each other! We've all been inspired by other talented papercrafters at various times and a CASE challenge (Copy And Share Everything) is one of the best ways to get those creative juices flowing! Come travel with us and see which team member has inspired us to get crafty!
If you've jetted in from England from Meredith's blog then you have arrived at the right destination. If you haven't, perhaps you'd like to start your journey back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss any of the inspiration along the way!
My inspiration today, comes from Dina! Here's her beautiful card:
I loved that old-fashioned banner the moment I saw it, and how the fabulously coloured flower stands out. I decided to ink up Gerber Daisies, pulled out my Copics and got rolling :)
I coloured the petals with Dusty Rose Collection, adding a touch of R22 & R20 to the lighter areas. The centers were done with Tiger Lily Collection (I didn't use the lightest shade), and the green parts were coloured with Olive Green markers.
I also used a MME patterned paper (like you wouldn't know... *wink*) and the gorgeous banner die from Spellbinders Ribbon Banners set.
