Hello and welcome to January Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!!
Once again, it's time to get those passports ready as once again we travel the world and share inspiration by talented girls from all parts of the globe! A big thank you to everyone who traveled the globe with us last month :)
If you do a little globetrotting with us and stamp our passports (leave us a comment), you could WIN A FREE FLOURISHES STAMP SET!! The catch is, you don't know which country is going to be this month's vacation spot (chosen blog) so leave a comment on each one by January 31st for your chance to win.
If you've jetted in from Dina's blog then you have arrived at the right destination. If you haven't, perhaps you'd like to start your journey back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss any of the inspiration along the way!!
Our host this month is Meredith, and she challenged the Team to TAGS!
I designed a collage-style tag, by taking a bunch of Flourishes stamps and Distress Inks. From white space to this, in just a couple of steps...

I started by stamping the ferns from Ferns and Fiddles, in Old Paper Distress Ink. Then came the script from Thank You in Frayed Burlap, and Hydrangea in Bundled Sage. Lastly, the sentiment (from Ferns and Fiddles as well), stamped in regular brown ink, a little rub-on flourish from Kaisercraft on the side, and a touch of distressing on the edges.
For those who miss Copic work on a Flourishes artwork, there certainly is some! That's how I did the splashes of pink, by flicking some R20 over the entire tag. HA!
I hope you like this rustic look.
Thanks for taking time to visit me here in Australia, it's time to grab your passports and board Flourishes Flight, your next destination is.........
